Learning to fly and rc model isn't that hard for most people. However, it is easier if you have an instructor to help you. Many people that try to learn on their own, damage or destroy their airplanes early in the process, and then just give up. Working with an instructor allows an experienced flyer to ground-check your airplane, fly it, adjust it as necessary, and then teach you "step-by-step" how to fly your model.
Colby RC flyers are currently offering weekly Tag training sessions for new members on Tuesday. Club members will make every effort possible to be at the field by 6pm or as soon as possible to assist pilot trainees and those wishing to experience a hands-on flight. If you would like to find out more about RC aircraft and our club please stop by the Club Flying Field. The Club's field is located 7 miles north on highway 25 from the intersection of Hwy 24/Hwy 25 in Colby, or 5 miles south on highway 25 from the Thomas/Rawlins County line (Look for the sign by the highway and the windsock and structures just 1/8th mile east of highway 25).
